Shape Idle privacy policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

Shape Idle is made by Pocket Comet Games LLC ("we" or "us"). This policy explains what information the game handles and why. It covers Shape Idle on every platform where it's available.

The short version

• You don't need an account, and the game never asks for your name, email address or contacts.
• Your progress is saved on your own device.
• Ads are optional. If you choose to watch one, our ad partner (Google AdMob) may collect device information to show and measure it.
• Purchases go through your app store. We never see your payment details.
• We don't sell your personal information.

Information saved on your device

The game saves your progress and settings on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This information stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it. If you use Export to make a save code, the code contains the same game progress, and you decide where to keep it.

Optional ads

You can choose to watch an ad in exchange for an in-game reward. Ads appear only in the phone versions, and only when you choose to watch one. The PC version has no ads.

Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device type and how you interact with the ad. Google describes how it uses this information in its Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the game asks for your consent before personalized ads are shown.

Purchases

You can buy optional in-game items. Purchases are handled by the store you got the game from (such as Google Play, the App Store or Steam) under that store's own terms and privacy policy. We don't receive your name, card number or billing address. The store tells the game that a purchase went through, with details such as an order number, so the game can deliver your item.

Children

Shape Idle isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

• Delete your game data at any time by uninstalling the game or clearing its data in your device settings.
• Reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device's privacy settings.
• Contact us with any privacy question or request.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
